{"id":7949,"date":"2026-02-01T23:34:23","date_gmt":"2026-02-01T18:04:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp1.niviyo.in\/index.php\/2026\/02\/01\/south-africa-beat-england-in-series-decider\/"},"modified":"2026-02-01T23:34:23","modified_gmt":"2026-02-01T18:04:23","slug":"south-africa-beat-england-in-series-decider","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp1.niviyo.in\/index.php\/2026\/02\/01\/south-africa-beat-england-in-series-decider\/","title":{"rendered":"South Africa beat England in series decider"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Published18 minutes ago<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Captain Fran Williams admitted England &quot;weren&#x27;t good enough right from the start&quot; as they lost 65-50 to South Africa in their series decider in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n<p>After losing the first game, England levelled the series on Saturday to set up the winner-takes-all game on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>But in what was their final Test match before this summer&#x27;s Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Jess Thirlby&#x27;s side came up against a clinical South Africa side that led throughout.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We&#x27;re really disappointed with how we showed up today,&quot; Williams said.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We weren&#x27;t good enough right from the start of the game.
